OUTCOME
The result is a brand that feels both rooted and relevant. Visually, we drew inspiration from Ulos textiles—specifically Ragi Hidup and Ragi Hotang—and abstracted their patterns into a flexible brand system that informs typography, colour, and layout.
The logo design reflects a contemporary sensibility while paying homage to Batak lettering and craftsmanship. The interior extends the brand into a physical experience—part gallery, part communal dining space. The brand tone is inclusive, spirited, and soulful—much like a Batak family gathering. Menus, coasters, and signage celebrate the language and rituals of Batak hospitality, while the entertainment keep the energy vibrant and joyful.
Lapo Porsea delivers a cohesive brand experience—where heritage isn’t just preserved but reimagined with new relevance. It’s a place where tradition has a seat at the table, and every guest feels welcomed, connected, and part of the tribe.
